Nocturne published in new anthology 22 Nocturnes for Chopin

I am very excited to announce that my Nocturne in Fm was published this summer by EVC Music. It is featured in the anthology 22 Nocturnes for Chopin.

Pandemic Portraits

‘Pandemic Portraits’ is a multi-media project by St Albans based photographer Nic Madge. The purpose of the project is to document the affect that Covid-19 is having on business and communities in St Albans. Each month a different musician has contributed music to the project, and I was invited to provide the music for the April edition.

'Nocturne in A flat major' Featured In Digital Concert Series

Concert pianist Maria Marchant features a second work as part of her livestream concert series 7 Notes In 7 Days At 7pm.

‘Isolation’ Released Today

Isolation is the debut album from composer Charlotte Botterill, performed by Késia Decoté. The album is available on all digital platforms, and as a collectable limited edition CD release. Only 50 CDs have been printed. Each CD album includes an exclusive art print by guitarist and artist Rosie Botterill. Isolation is the third release by the label Lis de la Mer.

Połączyć for recycled instruments

Połączyć was commissioned by the community project MiastoGra z Jegomościem w Kapeluszu as part of their 2020 final concert. The project aims to bring young people in the local communities together through music, showing that music is an indispensable part of our lives and can be found anywhere, while simultaneously raising awareness of sustainability and recycling

Really excited to announce that my piano miniature collection Isolation is being recorded by the incredible Késia Decoté and will be released later this year on Lis de la Mer records.

ISOLATION: reacting to the pandemic through music

On 23rd March 2020 the UK went into lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Between 2nd April and 14th June I have been documenting my experiences by creating a set of piano miniatures entitled Isolation.
